Your personal information will be collected, eg, when you renew your membership or contact the SRA about a Selsdon issue. The Selsdon Residents Association have a lawful basis of Legitimate Interest and will hold and process an individuals personal information in fulfilment of the Rules of the Association:

“To promote the benefit of the residents of Selsdon without distinction of gender or of Political, Religious or other opinions by associating with the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and residents in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said residents.”

If you are a supplier the Selsdon Residents Association may contact you to obtain goods or services and our lawful basis for holding and processing your information will be that of Contract. 

The Selsdon Residents Association respects your right to privacy. We will hold your personal information electronically and / or in hard copy format and will only use it in conjunction with our professional relationship and / or agreement together and for the legitimate interest of the business of the Selsdon Residents Association and in fulfilment of its ‘Rules’.

The Selsdon Residents Association will not share, sell or profile your personal data, however, under GDPR, we must disclose personal data if requested to by law enforcement agencies. You may contact our Data Controller at mail2.selsdonresidents@gmail.com at any time to request a copy of your personal information which we may hold or to request that we delete or amend your personal information from our records. There will be no charge for this Subject Access Request and we will respond within 30 days.
