SRA - "Working for the Community"

Selsdon is a leafy suburb in the south of Croydon and borders the Green Belt. Residents have easy access to green spaces, great transport links, a high life expectancy and a low crime rate.

The Selsdon Resident’s Association (SRA) is a voluntary non-profit organisation run for and by, residents of Selsdon. It was formed in 1926 with the aim of advancing and protecting the interests of Selsdon Residents. The SRA is non-sectarian and non-political.

The SRA Committee discuss, represent and take action on Selsdon issues, hold an AGM (usually in March), organise events and communicate with residents via The Selsdon Gazette, this website or individually where appropriate.

See the separate About the SRA page for more details.

Council electoral boundary changes

From May 2018 Croydon Council changed the electoral boundaries.  Our existing Selsdon membership is now split over three different Council Wards. For more information on the background, the effect of the changes, a detailed list of roads and the SRA’s response please click here. In summary the SRA will continue to represent the whole of Selsdon and will consult with all relevant Councillors and other neighbouring Residential areas to ensure our combined views are heard.

Proposed changes to bus routes in central Croydon (including our 412 and 433).

TfL will be running a drop-in session to take questions on the proposals as follows:

Tuesday 11 December, 14:00 – 16:00

Croydon Clocktower, Katharine Street, Croydon, CR9 1ET
