His book on the subject became the longest running mammal book still in publication. The future well-being of the hedgehog is threatened like never before, so it is a real pleasure to have Dr Pat back in Croydon to update us on the plight of this most lovable mammal.

SELSDON PRIMARY SCHOOL REUNION

If you, your parents or grandparents attended Selsdon Primary school between 1939-1946, we invite you to attend this year’s reunion of the ‘Wartime Children’.  This lunchtime reunion will be held on:

Wednesday, 16 October 2019 at Farleigh Golf Club, Old Farleigh Road, Warlingham, CR6 9PE - From noon onwards – lunch to be served at 12.30pm

This annual event is becoming more popular. Starting a few years ago with just half-a-dozen or so, last year it attracted over 30 ex-pupils, despite the passing years! The last seventy years passed like a flash as fond childhood reminiscences were exchanged. A stoic generation indeed.

For those wishing to attend this year’s event, a menu will be sent to you nearer the time so you can order your dining requirements beforehand.

For more information please contact Jill Maynard
